The Muffin Band is made up of five seasoned musicians from various bands in manila. Their sound draws together a variety of influences which each member gathered from years of playing in various bars around the country. Concentrating on a style much at home to their heart collectively, muffin performs their own music which borders around pop and alternative rock. Creativity flows endlessly with muffin as they have among their sleeves over ten albums worth of original compositions as well as rehashed versions of popular songs weaved in their own style. With years of experience as former members of several variety bands, muffin can play for you all night long with hundreds of party and lounge music among their repertoire. This is not your ordinary band. Members of Muffin belong to the rhythm section of a popular novelty band K and the Boxers which was the recipient of 2001 Aliw Awardee for Best Performance in Music Lounges, Bars & Restaurant (Group).
